چکیده
The observation of cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropies is one the key probes physical cosmology. weak nature this signal has driven construction increasingly complex and sensitive experiments observing sky at multiple frequencies with thousands polarization detectors. Given high sensitivity such experiments, instrumental systematic effects can become limiting factor towards full scientific exploitation their data. In paper we present s4cmb (Systematics for CMB), a Python package designed to simulate raw data streams in time domain modern CMB based on bolometric technology, inject these realistic systematics effects. aim help assessing contamination due real data, guide design future instruments, as well increase realism simulated sets required development accurate analysis methods.

Measuring cosmological parameters with cosmic microwave background experiments.
The cosmic microwave background anisotropy is sensitive to the slope and amplitude of primordial energy density and gravitational wave fluctuations, the baryon density, the Hubble constant, the cosmological constant, the ionization history, etc. In this Letter, we examine the degree to which these factors can be separately resolved from combined smalland large-angular scale anisotropy observati...
متن کامل23 . Cosmic microwave background 1 23 . COSMIC MICROWAVE BACKGROUND
The energy content in radiation from beyond our Galaxy is dominated by the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), discovered in 1965 [1]. The spectrum of the CMB is well described by a blackbody function with T = 2.725 K. This spectral form is one of the main pillars of the hot Big Bang model for the early Universe. The lack of any observed deviations from a blackbody spectrum constrains physical p...
متن کاملReconstructing Sunyaev–Zel’dovich clusters in future cosmic microwave background experiments
We present a new method for component separation aimed at extracting Sunyaev–Zel’dovich (SZ) galaxy clusters from multifrequency maps of cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiments. This method is designed to recover non-Gaussian, spatially localized and sparse signals. We first characterize the cluster non-Gaussianity by studying it on simulated SZ maps. We then apply our estimator on simula...
متن کاملAsymmetric Beams in Cosmic Microwave Background Anisotropy Experiments
We propose a new formalism to handle asymmetric beams in the data analysis of cosmic microwave background anisotropy experiments. For any beam shape, the formalism finds the optimal circularly symmetric equivalent and is thus easily adaptable to existing data analysis methods. We demonstrate certain key points by using a simulated highly elliptic beam, and the beams and data of the MAXIMA-1 exp...
متن کاملMap-making methods for Cosmic Microwave Background experiments
The map-making step of Cosmic Microwave Background data analysis involves linear inversion problems which cannot be performed by a brute force approach for the large timelines of today. We present in this article optimal vector-only map-making methods, which are an iterative COBE method, a Wiener direct filter and a Wiener iterative method. We apply these methods on diverse simulated data, and ...
